Volunteering Interfaith Caregiver volunteers assist with an average of 220-240 requests
for help each month throughout Ozaukee County. If you enjoy helping people, or simply want to sit and visit with an elderly person, or would like to do fundraising for a worthy cause, or are able to provide support as a community member on our Board of Directors, we are exactly the volunteer opportunity you are looking for. Regardless of your skill or age, you can help. From driving to the doctor’s office to grocery shopping, from helping with household chores and yard work to providing respite care, our volunteers reap the rewards of giving back to the community. Scheduling is flexible and will be adjusted to your availability and what services you would like to help with. Insurance coverage is provided. If you would like to assist with transportation, you must have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance. Due to the vulnerability of the population we serve, all volunteers must provide two references, and agree to a criminal background check in order to qualify for volunteering. To volunteer, please can contact the Interfaith program in your area at the numbers below: Mequon/Thiensville: Cedarburg/Grafton: Saukville/Port Washington/Northern Ozaukee County: |
